Where It Started

SoHo Kid.
Construction at 17.

I grew up in SoHo in New York City. Surrounded by pre-war architecture, cast-iron facades, and buildings that were designed to last. I was drawn to how things were built — the craft behind the walls, the details most people walk past without noticing.

At 17, I started working construction for a family friend's company doing apartment renovations in Manhattan. I learned how buildings actually work — plumbing systems, electrical loads, structural integrity, drainage, foundations. Not from a textbook. From tearing walls open and putting them back together.

The Grind

15–20 Rentals a Month.

That led to real estate. A friend told me I should get my license, that I could make good money. So I did. I started in rentals in Manhattan — SoHo and the Financial District — previewing hundreds of apartments, learning every building, every block, every detail that mattered to a renter choosing between two units at the same price.

I was doing 15 to 20 rental transactions a month. It was a grind. But it taught me two things that define how I operate today: marketing moves inventory, and knowing the product better than your competition is the only real advantage.

The Shift

From NYC to NJ.
Listings, Not Rentals.

In 2016 I got married and moved to New Jersey. I was done grinding 20 rentals a month. I made the switch to residential sales — and my inner circle gave me their business. Friends, family, colleagues who trusted me with the biggest transaction of their lives.

I treated every one of their homes as if it were my own. That is not a line. It is how I was raised in this business.

The NJ/NY market taught me what happens when the stakes are real. Attorneys on both sides of every deal. Buyers who negotiate hard. Agents who show up prepared or get left behind. Twelve years in that environment builds a discipline that does not soften when you change your zip code.

Central Florida

A Market Full of Potential.
A Serious Gap.

My wife always wanted to move to Florida. After COVID, I made the decision — I was tired of the pace, the weather, and the limitations on what life could look like for our family. We chose Central Florida because her parents are here, and with our daughter, we needed that support system.

What I found when I arrived was a real estate market full of potential — and a serious gap in how agents operated. Coming from NJ/NY, I was used to urgency. Agents who worked full days, responded in minutes, and treated every listing like their reputation depended on it. Because it did.

Here, 95 percent of the agents I encountered had no urgency. They worked until 2pm. They listed homes and waited. They had no system, no accountability, and no way for a seller to know what was actually happening with their listing on any given day.

That gap is why I built LEVEЯ.

Construction Background

Five Years of
Building Homes.

Five years of residential construction is not a line on a resume. It is the reason I walk a home differently than any other agent in this market.

I check water pressure and temperature consistency across every faucet. I look at the roof line, the grading, the drainage slope. I flush toilets and check under sinks. I evaluate the HVAC system, the electrical panel, the insulation. I see the things a buyer's inspector will flag — and I address them before they become a $15,000 negotiation concession.

That background also means I can give sellers honest guidance on which improvements actually move the needle in their price range and which ones are a waste of money. Not every renovation has ROI. I know which ones do because I have built them.
